Coach x Custom Neon Collab

The journey began a few years ago when our Global Operations Manager, Kit Henseleit, attended the Retail Innovation Conference & Expo in Chicago. Having been inspired by a talk Coach's SVP Global Visual Experience, Giovanni Zaccariello gave on sustainability and storytelling in retail, Kit set about coming up with ways we could assist Coach with sustainable store fit-outs for a new sub-brand while complimenting the campaigns they were looking to create.

Passionate about sustainability herself, Kit had already been collecting LED neon off-cuts but hadn't yet found the ideal project. Coach's eco-friendly sub-brand provided the perfect opportunity to bring her nascent idea to life. She pitched the concept of creating Coachtopia logo signs from waste products and working with Giovanni and Elle McNamara, Senior Manager Global Creative Development and Visual Production at Coach, they began the process of turning the concept into eye-catching Coachtopia logo signs. This concept fits perfectly with the Coachtopia sub-brand, as Coachtopia bags are predominately manufactured from materials that would have otherwise gone to landfill. Many retailers are moving toward a circular industry, and it was a pleasure to work alongside this phenomenal team to illuminate their no-waste initiative. Crafted with LED neon flex off-cuts, the Coachtopia signs showcase a kaleidoscope of colors and a sentiment that aligns with Coach's aesthetic and their environmental commitment as well as our own. From the vibrant streets of New York's SoHo, Los Angeles and neon-lit Tokyo, our LED neon signs light up Coach stores and pop ups around the world, serving as a testament to the timeless appeal of the Coach brand and our shared ethos.
